Title:La MalagueñaBuy This Music Score
Composer/Artist:/Miguél Aceves Mejía
Style:Huapango

Besar tus labios quisiera, besar tus labios quisiera.

Yo no te ofrezco riquezas, te ofrezco mi corazón

other optional verses:

The 1913 Winnipegs Hockey Team

The 1913 Winnipegs Hockey Team

Team/Hockey
Inducted 2004
The Winnipeg Senior League was formed for amateurs in 1908 with these charter members: Victorias, Capitols and the University of Manitoba. By the next year the Winnipegs had replaced the Capitols and in 1913 they finally defeated the Vics powerhouse. They are reported to have gone through the season undefeated and boasted several fine players including Ollie Turnbull (whom the Manitoba Junior Championship Trophy is named after) Jack Gannon, Jack Ruttan, Bert Andrews, Jack Aldous, Al Adamson, Bill McKenzie, Bill Currie and Jack Hughes. Hughes would go on to enjoy a fabulous coaching career as he led the Elmwood Millionaires to the Memorial Cup and the Winnipegs to the Allan Cup in 1931. The Winnipegs defended the cup twice at home in March, defeating both Moose Jaw (11 : 6-0 & 13 : 10-3) and Edmonton (15 : 9-6&17 : 9-2).
