For Health Not For Profit
Canadians built a public health system so that all people would have access to health care. Care based on need. Not the size of our wallets.
But now our system is under attack by those who want a two-tier for-profit system. More private clinics. More private insurance. More private hospitals. Top-quality services for those who can pay. Less access for the rest of us.
There is no evidence that privitization will improve care or lessen wait times. In fact, the opposite.
Join us as we discuss the challenges to public health care and plan for innovation and real improvement within the public system.
